2004
The appendix files listed below in the tables total more than 36,000 pages. Each file contains about 500-1,000 pages, but most are about 600 pages. The "readme" files are 1 page, as are the Sediment files.
The data formats are text, Microsoft Excel, and csv (comman-separated value) text files which can be imported into most spreadsheet programs.
All sites recorded 15-minute data for their respective periods of record. A number follows the site name for sites with two salinity, temperature and turbidity probes. A 1 indicates the top probe (usually located 1 to 3 ft below low tide), and 2 indicates the bottom probe (usually located 5 ft below the top probe). The data are separated by individual sites and water year (October 1 to September 30). Discharge data are not published for the Speedy Point site because of the poor index-velocity rating obtained. Salinity and turbidity data are reported in parts per thousand (ppt) and nephelometric turbidity units (NTUs), respectively.
Stage: ft, feet (relative to National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929)
Discharge: m³/s, cubic meters per second
Salinity: ppt, parts per thousand
Temperature: °C, degrees Celsius
Turbidity: NTU, Nephelometric Turbidity Units
