ARC/INFO COVERAGES (GENERAL DESCRIPTION)
- A coverage is stored in the computer as a directory.
The directory name is the coverage name

Each ARC/INFO workspace has an INFO database stored under a subdirectory named ‘info’. It contains the INFO data files and feature attribute table definitions for the coverages in the workspace. In this example, the INFO database would contain at least a TIC and BND for each coverage plus any other feature attribute and related tables. IT IS NECESSARY TO MOVE THE INFO DIRECTORY WHEN MOVING THE COVERAGE DIRECTORIES
