A great deal of the success of the multichannel seismic profiling system is due to the dedication and expertise of technicians at the USGS Marine Facility in Redwood City, California, who prepared, operated and maintained the equipment: Dave Gonzales, Larry Kooker, Walt Olsen, Kevin O'Toole, Fred Paine, and Hal Williams. The authors also thank Jon Childs and Pat Hart for their expert counsel at sea and ashore, in collection and processing of these data.

The authors thank Peter Triezenberg for making these interactive web pages.

The authors also thank Pat Hart and Christopher Sorlien for their helpful and thorough reviews of this report.
