We would like to thank Captain George Gunther and the crew of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration research vessel Seward Johnson for their help in the collection of the gravity cores. Jim Broda of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and Matthew Arsenault, Sandy Baldwin, Brian Buczkowski, Michael A.
