Figure 10 is a map of the Northern Gulf of Mexico CVI calculated using Dolan and others (1985) shoreline change data and sea-level rise rate from NOS/NOAA water-level gages. Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi account for almost all of the high to very high vulnerability shoreline, while Alabama and Florida are mostly moderate to low vulnerability.
