Figure 9 is a map of mean significant wave height (meters) along the Northern Gulf of Mexico. The black dots indicate the locations of WIS wave stations (Hubertz and others, 1996). Most open-coast areas are ranked as low vulnerability, while inland bays and estuaries are primarily very low vulnerability.
