Cruise Documentation

The bottom photos archived on this CD-ROM were acquired during 13 cruises conducted from 1963 - 1968.  The majority of these cruises taking place from 1963 - 1964.  The archives at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution were searched to locate the cruise documentation.  The documents that could be located have been scanned and included here as additional background information.   

Pre-cruise letters for 9 of the 13 cruises were located.  The cruise letters document the proposed work.  They were scanned and archived here as GIF images in a form optimized for viewing and printing. Clicking on the cruise name will display the cruise letter in a new browser window.

The cruise reports summarize the actual participation, itinerary, and results.  Documentation for 12 of the 13 cruises were found.  Unfortunately, documentation for the R/V Delaware 7 cruise could not be found.  The available post-cruise documents have been reformatted from the original documents to an HTML format to provide a consistent format.  Clicking on the cruise name will display the cruise report in a new browser window.
