Statistics of
Meteorological Observations

Statistics of wind velocity, wind stress (tau), air temperature, and sea-surface temperature were calculated for the hour-averaged measurements, by month and for the complete study period. The statistics table includes the number of hours used to calculate statistics for the given time period (number). If the number of data points is not equal to 672, 720, or 744 hours for months with 28, 30 or 31 days respectively, then the data is not complete for that month.
