Data Limitations: The extent of contiguous seismic data (Fig. 20A, 20B, 20C) demarcates data boundaries on the bedrock topography and sediment thickness maps. Water depth and turbidity, which obscure seafloor images, constrain boundaries of benthic marine features interpreted from the aerial photomosaics. Confined to the shelf, the sedimentary thin-section dataset extends beyond both other datasets to the northeast and terminates to the southwest just west-southwest of Key West. |
